Dates announced for Central Canada Drummer 2017 fetish weekend

Fetish weekend featuring Central Canada Drummer and Drummerboy contests to take place April 13–16, 2017 (Easter long weekend)

(Toronto, Ontario) — The Central Canada Drummer fetish weekend will take place Thursday, April 13 through Sunday, April 16, 2017, the Easter holiday long weekend, presented by Steamworks Baths Toronto.

Events confirmed to date include: the longstanding “Squeal” sex party on Thursday night at Steamworks; the “Changing of The Guard” meet and great social event on ‘Good Friday’ holiday afternoon; the Central Canada Drummer and Central Canada Drummerboy contests on Saturday afternoon at Club120; a victory brunch Sunday morning at Churchmouse & Firkin; and, on Sunday, the season finale of the popular Rough House BDSM/dungeon party. Other events will be added to the weekend roster in the months ahead.

Central Canada Drummer and Central Canada Drummerboy are regional titles of Drummer North America. The contests are designed to better reflect the reality of gay men active today in the fetish/kink communities. Each title is open to the broad spectrum fetish identities celebrated by gay men — from rubber, uniforms, skinhead and leather, to sports kit, military, punk and more — and reach beyond any one specific power dynamic.

The Central Canada title contests are open to gay-identified, biological and trans men in the fetish/kink communities who are residents of Ontario, and age 21 or older. (Age 21 is the legal age to compete at the DNA contests held in the United States.)

Though the contests are open exclusively to male contestants, Central Canada Drummer embraces and welcomes our kinky lesbian leather sisters to join the celebration and events, and to participate in the “Women of Drummer,” who will have a presence and be active at both the Central Canada and DNA contest weekends.

Steamworks Baths Toronto (www.SteamworksBaths.com) is the Presenting Sponsor of Central Canada Drummer fetish weekend and the official bathhouse for Central Canada Drummer.

Community Partners confirmed to date include Club120 (www.Club120.ca), Churchmouse & Firkin (www.firkinpubs.com/thechurchmouseandfirkin) and Rough House (www.RoughHouse.ca).

Contestant registration for the Central Canada Drummer and Drummerboy 2017 contests will open in mid-February, 2017. Contestant applications will be available for download at CentralCanadaDrummer.com.

Winners of the Central Canada Drummer and Drummerboy 2017 titles will advance to compete at the Drummer North America contest weekend in Las Vegas in February 2018, which is open to regional DNA titleholders from Canada, United States and Mexico.
